Meet The Team

Senior Acting Coach
Jim Rastall
He/Him
Jim trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and since 2009 has been lucky enough to work with household names, national treasures, Oscar nominees- and even his own personal comedy god, Christopher Guest (This is Spinal Tap).
Having experienced first hand the emotional rollercoaster that is the actors life, Jim is passionate about helping each student to recognise their innate genius and to allow their work to become a joyful expression of who they are. Because that is where simple truth, total freedom, and that rock star feeling all hang out!
Jim has taught at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Arts Ed, and AMAW London, and directed work at The Criterion, Ambassadors and Leicester Square Theatres (West End)

Senior Acting Coach
Ian McGowan
He/Him
Originally hailing from Warrington, Ian teaches acting workshops and classes regularly around the world, including Vancouver, Toronto, London and Denmark. Originally training at Drama Centre London, Ian worked in theatre across the U.K. including in London's West End in The Woman In Black.
He has been teaching for Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop since 2017 and runs their London studio. He has had students and coaching clients in shows such as Sex Education (Netflix), Wednesday (Netflix) Years and Years (BBC), Once Upon A Time (ABC), Coronation Street (ITV), Eastenders (BBC) and many more.
Ian passionately believes that actor's have everything in them already to have the career they want and that suffering is not something they need to experience to get it! So his classes are fun and engaging though with an honesty about which areas in the work actors can gain a greater awareness and understanding of, to help own their process.
Explored with a big heart and with a professional curiosity instead of any judgement.
